Turbo IELTS operates this mock test platform ("Platform") at mocktest.turboielts.com. We are committed to protecting your personal information and being transparent about how we collect and use it.

This Privacy Policy applies specifically to mocktest.turboielts.com. Our main website turboielts.com is governed by a separate privacy policy available at turboielts.com/privacy-policy/.

When you use this Platform, we may collect the following personal information:

• –Account data: Name, email address, phone number
• –Payment data: Payment method details and transaction history (processed securely via Razorpay; we do not store card numbers)
• –Test data: Your answers, writing submissions, reading and listening responses, and test attempt history
• –Audio recordings: Speaking test responses are recorded via your browser microphone and transcribed using OpenAI Whisper for AI-powered evaluation. Recordings are stored temporarily and deleted within 7 days of your test attempt.
• –Technical data: IP address, browser type, device ID, operating system, interaction logs (clicks, time on pages), IP-based approximate location
• –Usage data: Pages visited, test attempts started and completed, band scores received

We use your information for the following purposes:

• –Service delivery: To provide mock tests, evaluate your responses, and display your results and band scores
• –AI evaluation: Your writing and speaking responses are processed by OpenAI's API (GPT-4o mini and Whisper) to generate automated band score feedback. This is a core feature of the Platform.
• –Payment processing: To process payments for test credits via Razorpay
• –Authentication and security: To manage your account, prevent fraud, and protect the Platform
• –Analytics and performance tracking: To understand how users interact with the Platform and improve our services
• –Marketing and advertising: We use Google Ads and Google Analytics to run and measure advertising campaigns. If you arrived via a Google Ad, your session data may be used for conversion tracking and ad optimisation.
• –Legal compliance: To meet applicable legal obligations

We work with trusted third-party service providers to operate our platform, including services for analytics, advertising, payment processing, and infrastructure. These providers only receive the data necessary to perform their functions and are contractually obligated to protect your information.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

When you complete a Speaking test on this Platform:

• –Your browser microphone records your spoken responses.
• –The audio file is sent to OpenAI Whisper for transcription.
• –The transcript is then evaluated by an AI model to generate a band score and feedback.
• –Audio files are stored on our server and are automatically deleted within 7 days of your test attempt.
• –You grant us a limited licence to process your audio solely for the purpose of evaluating your Speaking test.

You may request early deletion of your audio data by contacting us at turboieltsprep@gmail.com.

Payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not store your full card number or CVV on our servers. We retain a record of transaction IDs, payment status, and the amount paid for account management and refund purposes.

Razorpay's handling of your payment data is governed by their own Privacy Policy at razorpay.com/privacy/.

This Platform uses Google Ads for advertising. We use Google's conversion tracking tools to measure whether users who click our ads go on to register or purchase test credits.

• –You can opt out of Google's ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com.
• –Our ads target users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly advertise to children under 16.

We use the following types of cookies:
